Nine men have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged assault at a licensed premises on York Street, Sale, on 15 August 2026. Victoria Police allege a group of men approached five males at about 5.15pm and began harassing them.
The confrontation allegedly escalated into an affray in which several people were injured. Police have charged some of the men with offences including intentionally causing injury and affray, while others have been released pending further enquiries.
