terms and conditions.
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) enquiry form provided by Brennan Law Partners (“we”, “our”, “us”). By submitting an enquiry, you agree to the following:

1. Purpose of the Enquiry Form
-
The enquiry form is provided to assist individuals in seeking preliminary information and support regarding the Victorian Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS).
-
Submitting an enquiry does not establish a solicitor–client relationship. A formal retainer agreement will be required before we act on your behalf.
2. Review of Enquiry
-
All enquiries submitted will be reviewed by Brennan Law Partners.
-
We will contact you if we determine that your enquiry is appropriate for our assistance.
-
If you do not hear from us, it means we are unable to assist with your enquiry under this scheme.
3. Information Provided by You
-
You must ensure the information provided in your enquiry is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
-
Any false or misleading information may impact your eligibility for legal support.
4. Confidentiality and Privacy
-
All personal information you provide will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
-
By submitting the enquiry form, you consent to Brennan Law Partners handling your information for the purposes of assessing and responding to your enquiry.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome
-
While Brennan Law Partners will use reasonable skill and care in assisting with your application, we cannot guarantee that your FAS application will be approved or that you will receive a specific amount of financial assistance.
6. Fees and Costs
-
Assistance provided in relation to FAS applications is offered at no cost to you.
-
If any additional legal services outside the scope of FAS are required, these will be subject to a separate agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
-
Brennan Law Partners is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising directly or indirectly from the use of this enquiry form, the provision of preliminary information, or from any decision made by the Financial Assistance Scheme.
8. Changes to Terms
-
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of submission will apply.
