A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital after allegedly being assaulted during an aggravated burglary at a home in Werribee on 8 September 2026.
Victoria Police allege two armed offenders forced their way into a property on Otterham Way at about 1.15am. One of the male occupants was allegedly assaulted and suffered slash wounds. Three other people were inside the property at the time but were not physically injured. Police allege the offenders stole car keys and attempted to take a vehicle before police intervened. Two teenagers were arrested in relation to the incident.
