Police are investigating a violent incident in Manor Lakes after offenders allegedly attacked two teenage boys during the early hours of the morning. Reports indicate one of the victims sustained stab injuries during the confrontation, while authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Incidents involving youth violence can have profound impacts on victims of crime and their families, particularly where weapons are involved. Recovery often extends beyond immediate medical treatment and may involve ongoing counselling and psychological support to address the effects of trauma.

In Victoria, eligible victims may be able to apply for assistance through the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). Support may be available for counselling, medical treatment and other recovery-related expenses connected to violent crime.

Submitting an enquiry can help clarify eligibility and provide guidance regarding the application process.
