A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital after being knocked unconscious during an alleged assault in Sunshine on 2 October 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 3.30pm on Hampshire Road, while the man was waiting at traffic lights. CCTV footage reportedly showed a male attacker punching him to the ground and continuing the assault, before a female attacker allegedly kicked him. The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and required hospital treatment.
