epping and dandenong north double stabbing.

Police have charged a 27-year-old man following two alleged stabbing incidents that occurred across Melbourne on the same day. Investigators allege a 40-year-old man was stabbed at a property in Epping before a second incident in Dandenong North, where a vehicle allegedly crashed into a home and a 34-year-old woman was stabbed. Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Targeted acts of violence can have profound effects on victims, particularly where incidents occur at home or involve people known to one another. For many victims of crime, recovery may require ongoing medical treatment, counselling and psychological support. The emotional impact of violent offending often continues long after physical injuries have healed.

The Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) may provide eligible victims with financial support for recovery-related expenses, including counselling and medical treatment.

If you have been affected by a violent incident, sending an enquiry can help clarify what support may be available.
