st kilda east lockdown after bomb scare.

Two Melbourne schools were placed into precautionary lockdown after a man allegedly sparked a bomb scare in St Kilda East. Emergency services responded, and the area was secured while police conducted searches. No explosive device was located, and a man was later arrested in connection with the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances.

 

While no physical injuries were reported, such incidents can cause significant distress to students, staff, and community members. Victims of crime who experience psychological harm may be eligible to apply for financial assistance through Victoria’s Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), including funding for counselling and related support.
