greenvale home invasion stabbing.

Two men have been hospitalised following a violent home invasion in Greenvale, Melbourne’s north, late last week. Police allege several offenders entered a residential property on Stirling Close just before midnight, where the occupants were confronted and stabbed during the incident. The victims, aged 48 and 35, were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the offenders fled the scene in a vehicle.

Incidents involving intrusions into the home, particularly where weapons are used, can have a lasting psychological impact on victims and their families. Even where injuries are not life-threatening, the emotional effects can be significant.

In Victoria, victims of crime may be eligible to apply for financial support through the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). The scheme can assist with counselling, medical treatment, and other recovery-related expenses. If you have been affected by a violent home invasion, sending an enquiry can help you understand the support available and how to begin an application.
