A teenage boy has been charged over a crash that killed a 15-year-old boy in Hoppers Crossing on Friday morning. Victoria Police understands that a stolen grey vehicle was allegedly pursuing a sedan in what appeared to be an attempted carjacking.
Emergency services attended the scene and multiple people were taken to hospital treatment. The victim, who was thrown from the vehicle, died at the scene, while a 16-year-old girl suffered serious injuries and is now receiving treatment.
