attempted carjacking in hallam.

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives are currently investigating an incident in Hallam, where two men armed with knives attempted to carjack a vehicle at an intersection. The incident began with a man with a knife approaching the victim’s car, before he attempted to open the door and began banging on the vehicle. Another man then followed, walking towards the vehicle with a knife.

During the confrontation, the offenders allegedly punctured the victim’s vehicle. As the driver attempted to leave the area, the two men were reportedly dragged briefly along the driver’s side of the car before losing their grip.

Fortunately, the victim was able to escape the incident and drive away from further harm.
